Babysitter for School-Aged Children

We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter for our family in Washington, DC. The position involves caring for our four children: a 4-year-old, a 5-year-old, an 8-year-old, and a 10-year-old. Our needs include ensuring the kids are prepared for school, making it to the bus stop at 8:00 AM, and managing transportation for extracurricular activities. The 4-year-old attends a local pre-k from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, requiring care afterward until approximately 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM. With a consistent 3-day work week and varying weekly schedules, we require a sitter who is adaptable and can work independently, especially since the father will be asleep during the day due to his mid-shift work. Pet care for one cat is not necessary. If you enjoy working with children and can handle pickups and drop-offs, this might be the perfect job for you. Driving is a key part of this role, so a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Bedtime care will also be involved.
