After-School and Evening Babysitter

A warm family in Washington, DC is seeking a part-time babysitter for after-school and evening care. This role is ideal for a college student or recent graduate who enjoys working with children and has strong academic skills. The babysitter will work with three children: a 7th grader, a 5th grader, and a toddler. Responsibilities include providing after-school snacks, assisting with homework, and playing with the toddler. The ability to tutor 7th-grade advanced math is essential, and Spanish language skills are a plus. No driving is required. This opportunity is located in Woodley Park, conveniently near public transportation. The candidate must be reliable, communicative, and capable of committing through the school year. Two references and a background check are required. The schedule is 3-4 afternoons a week, from approximately 4 PM to 8 PM, with the possibility of additional hours on evenings or weekends.
