Afternoon Babysitter for School Pickup

We are seeking a reliable and caring babysitter in Newark, NJ, to assist with after-school care for our 7-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter. Responsibilities include picking up our son from school Monday through Friday at 3:30 PM, driving him home, providing a snack, and staying with both children until approximately 4:30 PM when a parent arrives home. Our son is autistic and minimally verbal, so the ideal candidate should be patient, attentive, and comfortable working with him. Prior experience with autism is not required as we will provide guidance on his routine. No pet care is required, though you should be comfortable around our friendly small dog, Tyson. This position extends throughout the school year from September to June.
