Evening Babysitter for Elementary Aged Children

We are a warm and active family in New York, NY seeking a responsible and engaging babysitter for our two sweet girls, aged 8 and 5. The babysitting job is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The role generally involves helping with school pickup, managing afterschool activities, overseeing playdates, assisting with homework, ensuring dinnertime routines, and getting the girls settled for the evening from Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM, with occasional later nights. Our family values someone who is proactive and enjoys being with kids, and who can seamlessly become a comfortable and consistent part of our routine. The girls have a gentle mini Bernedoodle, so comfort with pets is appreciated. The job does not require driving, feeding, bathing, or bedtime duties. We are looking for a sitter who can create a fun and positive environment for the children while managing their afterschool activities.
