Part-Time Babysitter for Infant

We are seeking a warm and patient babysitter for our almost-one-year-old daughter in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area. The position is for 2–4 days per week, ideally 3 full days from Tuesday to Thursday, with flexibility on exact hours and days. Our daughter is spirited, curious, and playful, requiring someone who is patient and understands that building trust may take some time. Once comfortable, she is fun, silly, affectionate, and loves to explore. Experience with babies and toddlers, especially those who are spirited or sensitive, is highly desirable. Comfortable with contact napping and willing to hold her for naps if needed. We are located in the 27712 area, and proximity is preferable. Although Duke students with childcare experience could be an excellent fit, we welcome anyone who is warm and reliable. No driving or bedtime tasks are required, but feeding will be part of the responsibilities. We have a nine-year-old mixed dog who is friendly after initial barking.
