Part-Time Babysitter for Toddler

We are seeking a warm and dependable babysitter for our 13-month-old daughter in the Mueller area of Austin. This role involves babysitting 2-4 weeknights per month, typically for a few hours between 4-8 p.m. Responsibilities may include playtime, dinner, bath, and bedtime depending on the timing. Additionally, we are seeking someone for occasional house and dog sitting, approximately five times per year. This requires staying in our home to care for our two friendly dogs, a black Lab and a Shiba Inu. During these stays, pet care is the sole responsibility as our daughter travels with us. The dogs require feeding, twice-daily outdoor breaks, and companionship. We offer clear expectations, advance planning, and reliable, on-time payment. Pay for babysitting is $30/hour, and overnight house/dog sitting is $140/day. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with infants or young toddlers, be attentive, patient, and comfortable with dogs, have reliable transportation, and provide childcare references.
