Nursery Babysitter

We are seeking a responsible and caring nursery babysitter to provide attentive childcare at First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, SC. The position involves working alongside another nursery worker, caring for a group of 6-10 children with ages ranging from birth to 4 years old. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the children during the church service. This role does not require driving, feeding, bathing, or bedtime duties. The specific childcare task will be focused on supervision and engagement with the children, including a 3-year-old boy. The job will take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:45 PM. No pets are present in the nursery environment. We are looking for someone who meets safety standards and demonstrates a genuine love for working with young children.
