After School Babysitter for 6-Year-Old

We are seeking a fun and energetic babysitter to care for our 6-year-old daughter, Claire, in New York, NY. This position involves picking her up from school on the Upper West Side, taking her to and from gymnastics practice on the east side by bus, and providing companionship during her practice time. The job starts on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM, with a guaranteed pay for 2 hours during practice. Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic and capable of forming a strong connection with Claire. Language skills in Spanish, French, or Italian are a plus, as Claire is a beginner in these languages. Although no dogs or cats are present, the home has one friendly pet cat. No additional responsibilities such as driving, feeding, bathing, or bedtime are required for this role.
