Part-Time Babysitter for Young Children

We are seeking a reliable, warm, and experienced babysitter to care for our two young daughters in Detroit, MI. The job is on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 11:45 AM to 2:45 PM. The ideal candidate should genuinely enjoy spending time with little ones and exhibit patience, attentiveness, and energy. Responsibilities include engaging the girls in age-appropriate play and activities, preparing simple meals/snacks, assisting with naps and daily routines, and maintaining a tidy play and eating area. We seek someone who is dependable, proactive, and easygoing, fitting seamlessly into our family’s routine. We prioritize interaction, play, reading, outdoor activities, and minimal screen time. This position requires previous childcare experience and comfort in managing multiple young children. CPR certification is preferred. While no dogs or cats are present, there are other pets in the home, although specific interaction with them is not required. The role does not involve driving, bathing, or bedtime routines.
