Evening Babysitter for Children Ages 3 and 9

We are a local family in Newark, NJ, seeking a reliable evening babysitter for our two children, aged 9 and 3. The position starts on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 9:45 PM and ends Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 12:00 AM. We need a consistent babysitter for 3-4 weeknights, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, with an occasional weekend, offering regular hours on the same nights each week. Your responsibilities include engaging and playing with the kids, serving dinner that will be prepared in advance, and maintaining a calm environment until their mother returns home. Ideal candidates are 16 years or older with experience in caring for toddlers, are dependable, have references, and possess their own transportation. CPR and first aid certification are a plus.
