Evening Babysitter for Children Ages 5 and 8

We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter for our two children, an 8-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, in Birmingham, AL. The job starts at 11:00 PM on Friday, October 23, 2026, and ends at 2:00 AM on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The children will have already had their dinner and bath prior to your arrival. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with their bedtime routine, such as helping with bathroom needs, brushing teeth, and tucking them in. Our 5-year-old daughter may need someone to sit with her in her room while she falls asleep. We have seven friendly cats in the house; they are calm and will not require any special attention. While we have dogs, they will be kenneled in the basement and will not be a part of your responsible care. We value safety and ask our babysitters to adhere to the recommended sitter standards.
