Sunday Morning Babysitter

Hope Presbyterian Church in New Braunfels is seeking a friendly and outgoing babysitter to join our team. You will be responsible for providing a safe and welcoming environment for children ranging from infants (3 months) to preschoolers (up to 4 years old). The position involves working from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at our church location in San Antonio, TX. Upon arrival at 9:30 AM, you will meet with Jack Bennington, our Children's Director, who will guide you through the prep work required for the classrooms. Your duties will include engaging with children, helping to calm and distract them during drop-off, changing diapers when necessary, and ensuring the room is tidy with toys put back, snacks properly disposed of, and any messes cleaned before leaving. You will be supported by an adult volunteer from our church who has undergone a background check. During your time with us, we require your full attention to the children, so please refrain from using your phone, except in an emergency. We also ask that no pictures be taken of the children. Your ability to communicate warmly with both children and parents is crucial, as you will contribute to maintaining a fun and secure atmosphere.
