Evening Babysitter for Preschool and Elementary-Aged Children

We are seeking a reliable and caring babysitter to provide weekly evening care for our two children, a 7-year-old girl and a 4.5-year-old boy, in Long Beach. The primary responsibilities will include heating up dinner for the kids, assisting with bath time, and managing bedtime routines. Occasionally, you may be asked to help with light homework and perform light household chores such as dishes and laundry if time allows. Knowledge of Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, or Korean would be a plus, as our children attend a Spanish-immersion school. The job involves tending to the children from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM every Wednesday. Additionally, there may be opportunities for more babysitting sessions 1-2 times per week, which might include school pick-ups and drop-offs for children’s activities. Our household includes a very friendly 80-lb American Akita dog. The dog stays outdoors in our large backyard. Your comfort with large dogs is essential.
