Evening Babysitter for Child with Special Needs

We are seeking a compassionate and attentive babysitter to care for our 6-year-old son, Jackson, in Tacoma, WA. The shift will start on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 11:00 PM and end on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 4:00 AM. Jackson is autistic and possesses a joyful personality that will make your time with him memorable. As he is not yet potty trained, you will need to be comfortable changing diapers. He also requires assistance with meals as he is developmentally delayed and does not use utensils. During sleep, Jackson uses a CPAP and a pulse oximeter, and you will be responsible for placing the pulse ox on him. All other medical needs will be addressed by us upon our return. Our household also includes a cat that may not make an appearance and a long-haired Chihuahua, who serves as Jackson's service animal and is very friendly. Responsibilities include preparing a light meal, engaging in play activities, and assisting with bedtime routines. No driving, bathing, or additional pet care is required. We are dedicated to finding a sitter who is experienced, patient, and adores being around children with special needs.
