Evening Babysitter for Special Needs Child

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable babysitter for our 6-year-old son with autism in Tacoma, WA. This position requires caring for him on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM. Our son is nonverbal and requires a patient caregiver attentive to his unique ways of communication. He needs assistance with diaper changes and personal care. He is a joyful child with a big personality who loves to laugh, play, and watch his favorite shows like Finding Nemo, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Cars. He also enjoys listening to Billie Eilish, with "Ocean Eyes" being his favorite song. We are looking for someone who will provide gentle and loving care, ensuring he feels safe and comfortable. While he may not communicate with words, he has so much love to give and enjoys being around people who are kind and patient. Please note, there is a long-haired Chihuahua who serves as an emotional support animal, and an older cat who is seldom seen. No driving or bathing is required, but assistance with feeding and bedtime is necessary. We hope to find someone skilled in special needs care who will treat our son with the love and kindness he deserves.
