Afterschool Babysitter for 6-Year-Old

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic babysitter for a fun and outgoing 6-year-old girl in Los Angeles, CA. This position will begin on Monday, November 9, 2026, and end on Tuesday, November 10, 2026. The hours are from 11:00 PM to 1:30 AM. As a single working mom employed at USC and living on campus, I require someone to provide afterschool care just for a couple of hours each weekday. Our daughter is bright, artistic, and innovative, and she is transitioning to a new school. The focus will be on engaging her in enjoyable activities such as arts and crafts, free play, and watching her favorite shows, helping her acclimate and feel nurtured. My office is in the residence hall where we live, so I'm nearby if support is needed as she sometimes experiences big emotions. There is no need for driving, feeding, bathing, or bedtime routines. Although we do not have dogs or additional pets, there is a 2.5-year-old cat named Tiny in the home. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about creating a positive and comforting environment, allowing our child to decompress and enjoy her afternoons.
